This prize winning quilt was chosen by the Israeli quilting association to represent the country at the international exhibition in France.

Materials Cotton, silk, linen and other fabrics, sewn together by machine with nylon thread.

Description
This quilt depicts salient events in the fields of politics, war, culture and sports during Israel's 50 years of statehood. The choice of pictures was personal, based on my experiences and memories.
The traumatic year of 1995, when prime minister Rabin was murdered, is accentuated by a black frame. Years when wars occurred are kept in red.
The colours of the quilt, blue and white, are the colours of Israel's national flag.
