Agriculture I
All physical labour was highly prized by first generation kibbutzniks, but none more than
the work of the farmer. Agriculture - feeding the hungry - was the noblest occupation
a man with a social conscience could have.
This was the heroic age of the well educated farmer, working hand in hand with the scientist to improve man's lot.
Yeah, right.
