Pseudotropheus Zebra O.B.

  • Reproduction: Mouthbreeder, the eggs hatch after 3 weeks at 28 ºC.
  • Character: Can be very agressive.
  • Size up to 13 cm.
  • Diet: They are largely herbivores, feeding on the "Aufwuchs" algae growing on the rocks. There is a great deal of debate about the amount of animal matter in their diet, small invertibrates and molluscs being taken with the algae, it is however recommended that you do not feed too frequently with live foods as they cannot cope with large quantities of animal protein.
