| Rembrandt: Bath-sheba in the Bath
And it came to pass in an eveningtide, that David arose off from his bed, and walked upon
the roof of the king's house: and from the roof he saw a woman washing herself; and the woman
was very beautiful to look upon.
Samuel 11,2
The Raising of Lazarus
(This picture came as a huge relief to me after my attempts at self portraiting.
Mind you, I'm aware of the fact that in Rembrandt's times there were no flashbulbs yet. So
it must have been more difficult for him. Still..)
- Not fair! The site's gone without leaving a trace and so is the corpus delicti.
- I've found it again. But it has been
tampered with.
It's not half as dark as it used to be.
Quite a collection
