Gods and Kings

hattor and seth, tete a tete

The goddess Hathor and King Seti I

King Seti I (1302-1290 BC) waged wars against the Hittites and Libyans and built great temples at Thebes and Abydos as a sort of after-life insurance.
The goddess Hathor often sported a cows head. She began her career as goddess of the heavens and love, diversifying into Egypt's really big business, death.
Is it just a coincidence, that she looks a bit anorectic?
